Barbagallo Perth HEAT -vs- NSW Patriots

You probably can't get a more exciting start to the baseball season than this. The last two Claxton Shield Finals have been won by the Barbagallo Perth HEAT, and both have been against the NSW Patriots.

Well that's how the Spring Training Series in Perth is going to kick-off.

Friend or Foe? You be the judge by coming along and watching the action as the HEAT host the Patriots in what is being billed as a rematch of the last two Claxton Shield Grand Finals.

The games play over Friday and Saturday nights at 7 o'clock, the 23rd and 24th of October 2009, with Friday night being Fielders Choice Night and Saturday night will be TEAM SPENCER Night.

Registrations for the upcoming 2009/2010 season took place on Saturday and Sunday August 22 and 23, inside the Green Room of the Byford Recreation Centre. If you were'nt able to register in person, you can still do so online, Registration Forms can be downloaded from our Forms page and and posted in with your payment or you can pay online (see below).

Anyone aged between 5 and 90 can join in on the action and fun, playing your favourite diamond sport, whether it be Tee-ball, Little League, Baseball or Softball.

First time players will need to produce a Birth Certificate. You can purchase Tee-Ball Starter Packs and Club Caps too!

Sorry, we don't have EFTPOS facilities or take credit card.

You don't need to be a player either, there is always room for volunteers, coaches, umpires or scorers. So come on and get involved and make sure you register before the August 31 cut-off date, or else you will miss out.

If paying online, enter your name as payment reference to the following account details: North Murray Diamond Sports Association (Inc), Acc No: 1261-37355, BSB No: 633-108. You can email info@nmdsa.org.au if also purchasing a cap and/or Tee-Ball Starter Pack to ensure we set them aside for you, until team allocation day or your first game.

Our season runs from October to mid March with a break during the summer school holidays. The North Murray Diamond Sports Association is affiliated with other sporting bodies such as the Tee-ball Association of WA, Softball WA and Baseball WA, and is one of the larger sporting clubs in the Shire of Serpentine-Jarrahdale.

We are able to provide a number of sponsorship packages to local businesses who would like to sponsor our club.

The TBAWA website is currently listing several coaching and umpiring clinics scheduled for the 2009/2010 season.

Contact the NMDSA Volunteer Coordinator for bookings and refer to the TBAWA website to view the various clinic dates to find one that suits your availability.
